Dynamics (IARD) hosted its 6th biennial meeting at
Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, 22-26 June 2008.
IARD 2008 marked the association's
10th year of activity since its founding at the 1998
meeting.

IARD2008 Conference was held on Monday 23th June to Thursday 26th June at
Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. About thirty participants came from many countries around the globe
to lecture their subjects.
On Wednesday 25th June the participants had visited Vergina Archeological
Museum dozens kilometers west of Thessaloniki.
The museum is built on the archeological excavations of the tomb of King Philipus,
father of King Great Alexander Mukdon.
The archeologists found the tombs untouched by tomb-robbers, thus many original ancient
gold art items are included in the exhibition.

gold items presented in this exhibition, including art gold wreaths.
Later four lectures were given that day by IARD2008 participants in Aristotle Center near the city of
Naousa (see map).
Then the participants visited the nearby ancient wall where thousands years ago Aristotle
and his students lectured and discussed scientific and philosophical problems.
There some participants of IARD2008 Conference had the honor to lecture their opinion on
nowadays' scientific problems, in front of this Aristotle's historic wall.

Five previous IARD meetings took place in Houston,
Texas, Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Israel, Howard University in
Washington DC, Saas Fee, Switzerland, and the University of
Connecticut in Storrs, CT.
The goal of these meetings is to bring together researchers from
diverse fields whose interests involve relativistic dynamics, both
classical and quantum. The conference program aims to present recent
developments in the abstract theoretical aspects of general approaches
in quantum field theory, conformal field theories and string theories,
manifestly covariant approaches to classical mechanics, quantum theory,
and statistical mechanics, general relativity, classical and quantum
gravity, and explore application in such areas as high energy electron
spectroscopy, quark-gluon plasma generation in heavy ion collisions,
general high energy scattering and particle decay, cosmology, and
gravitational waves.
